aro and Portalgarden cultivate new website for Hunter Production Group

June 20, 2008 -- Fort Mill, SC – This week, Charlotte’s aro announces the completion of a premiere website designed for recording engineer and owner of Hunter Production Group, Jake Hunter. In the spring, Hunter contracted with aro to publicize the expanded services offered by Hunter Production Group, which recently opened from its new location in Fort Mill, SC, near Ballantyne. At that time, aro was tasked with designing the new site, as well as implementing branding and a marketing strategy for the firm.

Well known and highly regarded among local and national recording artists and other industry professionals, Jake Hunter is a NC native who has owned and operated three other studios in his career, including Sun Sound – which grew into Novus Productions – followed by the opening of White Room Studios in Charlotte. This month, Hunter Production Group announced its partnership with Stellar and Dove Award winning artist John P. Kee to mix 16 songs on a new Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Mass Choir album. In other news of note, regional favorite Tim Clark’s single “Love Thang,” co-produced and mixed by Jake Hunter, has now been released on Repete Records. Hunters impressive list of credits includes engineering three gold records, two platinum records, and three Grammy-nominated albums.

The new website for Hunter Production Group is reflective of the high quality for which the studio is known. The site carries sample recordings, client listings and testimonials, an overview of its high-end production equipment and capabilities, as well as complete information on each of Hunter’s three business entities. These include: Jake’s Place, a multi-platform, high-end recording and mastering facility; Hunter Mobile Digital, specializing in large-scale remote recording; and Charlotte Disc, a broker for CD and Cassette duplication and manufacturing. “We’re offering a one-stop operation,” says Hunter who personally oversees the entire production for clients – from studio recording to finished CD.

The new site is a collaboration of aro and Portalgarden, a Charlotte-based firm that provides solutions, expertise and resources to create and manage web presence for businesses, including HD video production services. Portalgarden owner Miles Morimoto is a seasoned Internet marketing professional, with nearly 30 years of success in the industry, working for such high profile firms as Apple Computer, Pacific Bell and Qwest.
